Praying five times a day is necessary for every mature Muslim who is physically and mentally capable of doing so. The times of prayer are spread throughout the day so that worshippers are able to continually maintain their connection to God.
What is the Prayer Time in Islam?
Salat al-zuhr: This prayer is performed midday after the sun passes its highest. Salat al-‘asr: This prayer is performed in the late part of the afternoon. Salat al-maghrib: This prayer is performed at dusk or just after sunset. Salat al-‘isha: This prayer is performed between sunset and midnight.
