Shatta Wale Black Is King | Ghana’s Dancehall Artiste Makes Headlines
Beyonce is set to release her long-anticipated film “Black is King” on Friday, July 31st, 2020. The movie which was directed, written, and executive produced by American singer Beyoncé serves as a visual companion to the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift.
As part of the huge promotion Disney TV+ is doing for the film ahead of its release, One of Ghana’s Biggest artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known as Shatta Wale made it to the movie’s main promotional banners and trailer released by the American subscription video on-demand streaming service owned and operated by the Direct-to-Consumer & International subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company (Disney+)
Shatta Wale’s picture is being utilized hugely to promote the project.
