Just like most smoothies, It’s going to take you less than 3 minutes to make. It tastes really good and has quite a number of health benefits. Drinking this pineapple and ginger smoothie blend can help in weight loss. This smoothie blend also helps in detoxifying the body and cleansing your system. It is not advisable to take this smoothie blend before boarding a flight, going to work or going on a long journey without having access to a lavatory. It works your system really fast!

Consuming pineapple and ginger is a superfood that comes with great health benefits. Let’s look at some of the health benefits of both Pineapple and Ginger. Pineapple is a tropical edible fruit rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes. They are low in calories and high in vitamin C. Pineapple contains Fiber, Manganese, Vitamin B6, Copper, Thiamin, Folate, Potassium, Magnesium, Niacin, Pantothenic acid, Iron, Riboflavin, carbs, and protein. Consuming pineapple may help suppress inflammation and boost immunity, aid in reducing the risk of cancer and eases digestion. Ginger is a root vegetable mostly used as a spice worldwide. Itis also used as traditional medicine. Ginger contains Gingerol, Vitamin B6 and calcium.
Ingredients
- Frozen chunks of pineapple or cold chunks of pineapple
- Raw ginger
- 300 ml of water or Ice cubes
- 1/2 lemon
- Tablespoon of honey (optional)
Instructions
In a blender or smoothie maker, add your pineapple, ginger, water, and lemon. Blend all together and enjoy cold.
